Pre-spring, or "oh - by the way - winter is ending...". Eight segments 22" square and six segments 8" x 22", meant to surface the latent hope underneath a New England February. Installed at the West End Coffee House, Feb & March 2004, in a configuration 20' long. Recombined for Somerville Open Studios, May 2004. Beeswax, house paint, oil pastel, and water soluble wax stick on paper.
